Okay so its been an on going joke about how I like cake. Today we had a potluck lunch and this included pies and cakes. Yvonne saved me two slices, one I got to eat there, and one she wrapped for me to take home. Man, she makes some damn good cake. And guys, that pudding in that cake OMG! Is that not a beautiful cake or what?! This gave me the excuse to try the “macro photo studio” method Caleb has on his site here. So I built the box and had the light source going, except the perfect storm of problems happened. No joke at the moment I took the picture, the light source failed, and the cake fell over. Here is the lame result, cake in mid flight:

So it ruined my paper and my box! Chocolate all over my damn macro studio, dammit the hell! Oh well, after messing around, I couldn’t stand it any longer and ate the cake right there. That’ll teach ya! Anyway you can see what I was going for on Caleb’s site as well as the one he was referencing here. I am sure with my camera and fixup it wouldn’t have been anywhere near as awesome as the pics there and the ones Caleb has.
